HappyHQ partnered with PLATF9RM to deliver its Culture Cohort programme – a six-week course designed for ambitious start-ups, established SMEs, or companies seeking to align on a people and culture vision to support sustainable growth.

Packed with frameworks, case studies from culture pioneers, practical exercises, and best-practice examples to help members and local businesses build solid people-first culture foundations.

The course was fully funded for PLATF9RM Members and payable for outside members.


Course outline:

  • What is culture? And why culture in 2024? – Understanding workplace expectations and trends, a culture framework, and defining your desired culture.
  • Discovering purpose and authentic values: Learn how to avoid common pitfalls and establish genuine, impactful core values beyond just words on the wall.
  • Values in action: Create the values ripple effect! Learn how to ensure your values resonate both within and outside your company.
  • Exploring tried and tested culture practices: OKRs, reviews, one-to-ones, company handbooks, value-based job descriptions, stay interviews, employee user manuals, meaningful metrics, and much, much more.
  • Finding values-aligned hires + best hiring practices (with I Love My Job) and supercharging your onboarding process.
  • Share your culture foundations with the cohort: Share your learnings and progress with the group.
